I’ve made another poster for a gig in May. it hasn’t been announced yet but. i won’t tell if you don’t.

I’ve made another poster for a gig in May. it hasn’t been announced yet but. i won’t tell if you don’t.

I moved back from Florence a little over a week ago, and oh how I miss it. While I was there I drew quite a lot. Here are some scanned drawings:

I may be back in the cold and snowy England, but there’s lots to look forward to: exhibiting my prints for the first time at Cambridge Contemporary Art in their mixed Cambridge At It’s Best exhibition, April 6th - 28th 2013; a new jewellery collection in the making; and Shop at the Old Fire Station in Oxford now sell Ellie Air Jewellery!
I’m currently on a Contemporary Jewellery course in Florence! While having the best time I’ve had in a long time, exploring and learning the language, I’m also drawing and designing to my heart’s content. Look forward to these on my return. unless I never come back.

At the very end of last year I created some screenprints based on my favourite childhood film: Fly Away Home.
They are proving very popular, online and at Cambridge Contemporary Art.

I’ve begun a set of new prints, based on a child’s recognition of birds. More to come soon about that!
a few weeks ago, I was interviewed by the lovely Lydia Fallon, and she has written a wonderful article about Ellie Air Jewellery, right here.
nearly everything from 2012 is up on the etsy shop, and for every reader there is 10% off with this code: THANKYOU2012
these might have sold out in Cambridge Contemporary Crafts, but I’ve got some for sale over on my etsy shop

Cambridge Contemporary Crafts are part of the Cambridge Arts Quarter’s late night shopping event on December 5th, and my jewellery shall be for sale there! (it’s also my poster…)

You can also get 10% off for the evening here!

And. a new collection called ‘Shapes’ will also be exhibited at Narrative’s exhibition at the Cambridge Art Salon, as of this Friday!

I’ve spent a few days at London Print Studio now. And here is my first attempt at a proper UV induced screen print, from sketch to print! (I’ve been told I have the neatest sketchbook in the world.)

In other news, I was asked by The Blake Society at Downing College to send in an image to be created as a postcard to be sold at their charity event this Christmas. The theme was boundaries, and I painted a watercolour of this pigeon hanging with me atop the Empire State Building!
